Chp.12- Culture Shock- Debate

I agree with the solution of the difficulties that Dita faced. To make some international students who are from Indonesia is the fastest way to solve her problems. By this way, she can save her time to get used to the circumstances, make other friends easier, improve her English listening and speaking skills, and probably get some food she likes.

Making friends who are from the same home country can settle the linguistic problem, so if she makes some Indonesian friends, she could ask them for solutions about her problems in school. They can deal with her daily worry and make her getting used to the circumstances faster.

As long as she has Indonesian friends, she will not feel lonely. She can also meet other friends by those Indonesian friends. Ultimately, she could make lots of friends who are not only from Indonesia but also are from any other courtries. By the same token, she could improve her English listening and speaking skills by talking with her friends, and then she will be more confident and easy in classes.

She lost her weights since she got United State due to the food in the college cafeteria is never tasted right to her. This problem will probably be solved by the Indonesian friends. They come from the same country, so they have the same culture, custom, and food. Indonesian friends could tell her where can get the food they like, or just share delicious food with her. In this way, she will not always eat hamburgers or chicken sandwiches.

In conclusion, making Indonesian friends is the best way to solve Dita's problems. She will get better in United State college, and finish her B.A. degree in communication.
